Small mammals' diversity in the Karoo
I'm currently involved with Zoe (see People and Links) in a big project which regroups a team of people surveying a large diversity of taxa: the BioGaps Project.
My project is focusing on small mammals (rodents and shrews) while Zoe is on medium and large mammals.

Goal: Assess the diversity of small mammals in the Karoo region.

Aims: Updating present data on Karoo mammals as well as filling gaps in the currently available data.

Methods: Small mammals trapping in various habitats and locations.
